Somatic Nervous System Regulation Workshop: Cultivating Capacity & Building Resilience in the Workplace
BURNOUT is a state of emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion caused by cycles of prolonged stress coupled with a lack of adequate recovery. Burnout disrupts cognitive clarity, emotional regulation, and decision-making, leading to feelings of depletion and overwhelm. Today’s high-pressure work cultures can push the nervous system to burnout, which can be alleviated through safe, practical, embodied interventions.
This experiential, embodied workshop is for people navigating workplace burnout. A combination of guided somatic movement, breath & neural techniques offers:
- A deeper understanding of how chronic workplace stress manifests in the body & mind
- Practical, embodied routines to regulate the nervous system in real time
- Sustainable practices to cultivate lasting resilience and balance
Sophia is a Neurofit Certified Trainer, somatic practitioner, educator & wellness strategist with over two decades of experience designing transformational experiences for professionals, creatives, and communities. Her trauma-informed approach blends nervous system science with embodied tools to help people regulate, recover, and thrive.

Encounter with the Goddess in the Welsh Landscape
Women's Sacred Movement and Healing Retreat in Brecon Beacons
FRIDAY, July 18:
- 3pm: arrivals and Welsh afternoon tea
- 5pm: Opening circle: Drum Journey with Donna to meet our two goddesses and set intentions for the weekend
- Dinner
- Sharing circle & story session with Donna
SATURDAY, July 19:
- 8 am: Gentle Goddess Yoga with Donna
- Breakfast
- 10-am 12 pm: Mytho-somatic Journey with Sophia. An evocative soundscape supports embodied ritual practice sequences to attune the body, activate coherence, and align body and soul for deeper transpersonal experience. Working somatically with the nervous system, we will awaken our synapses and establish coherency within ourselves and the group. Continuing on with Prayerformance practice, we will explore embodiment sequences to connect to the essence of the myths.
- 12-3 pm: Lunch and free time to walk the land, use hot tub or enjoy a personalised tarot/oracle reading with Donna
- 3-5 pm: Mytho-somatic Journey with Sophia. Building upon the resonance awakened in our first session, Prayerformance practice will invite us to move through our personal connections to mythic themes from the tales. Each woman will have the opportunity to express her archetypal gestures of connection to the Goddesses and be witnessed and affirmed in her embodied enactments of sovereignty and sacred union.

- Day on the Land:
- Walking the sacred land to the breathtaking Brecon Beacon Waterfalls for a Sovereignty Ceremony & Goddess Portraiture by Sophia.
- Picnic Lunch
- 3 pm: Return to the house
- 4 pm: Closing circle and ceremony

Somatic Synergy
Nervous System Regulation & Pelvic Floor Barre for Resilience & Rejuvenation
Join Somatic Wellness Coach, Sophia Blanton, for a two-part embodied breakthrough, weaving Nervous System Regulation & Somatic Pelvic Floor Barre. We’ll dive into science-backed techniques to regulate the nervous system, followed by a rejuvenating somatic practice to awaken & strengthen the pelvic region. We’ll finish with a pelvis-heart coherence session to synergize and anchor our shifts into the body.
FIRST SESSION: Nervous System Regulation (2-2:30 PM)
- Identify key nervous system stress states in the body
- Learn three nervous system mini routines to reset & recover from stress, like fight, flight, or freeze
- Co-regulate with simple, lively rhythmic group moves
SECOND SESSION: Somatic Pelvic Floor Barre (3:30-5 PM)
- Gently open & release joints of the lower back & pelvis
- Rhythmically tone muscle groups like the glutes, core, and kegels
- Release stored emotional energy from the pelvis and enteric nervous system (the Gut-Brain)
